If there is such a thing as a countdown to Christmas, we would really be in it now. One week to December 24th and the Shoppe closes for a holiday break.
But until then we are still hard at work making stained glass gifts for you to chose for the special people in your life. We are working on bells, holly, angels and Nativity pieces, as well as all our "regular" stained glass creations.
Drop by so we can wish a Merry Christmas in person and if you can't please accept these best wishes.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Village Glassworks.

The summer of 2010 is over and we are firmly into the Fall of 2010. In the shoppe we were busy completing a number of custom panels. See our panel page for larger pictures.
We have recently finished some renos and are now preparing for the
Kedge Weavers Guild Show & Sale.
Demos and displays of weaving and spinning, October 16th to October 23rd, will take place in the shoppe. Please join us any day between 10 & 5.

A couple of pictures of the garden in front of the shoppe. You can see that the flowers are competing with the glass in the window. It is all so colourful!
It is Spring; we have crocus and primula blooming in the Shoppe's front garden. And other flowers coming right behind them.
Recently we completed an order for a matching pair of lamp shades for bases supplied by our customer. Since it was a new pattern for us we did a trial lamp which now hangs in the front window. Our customer took her lamps home and just this week she reported "I love my lamps, I love my lamps." Now that is customer satisfaction!

The local community of North River built an outdoor rink this winter and we sponsored a board on the side of the rink. Can you spot "Village Glassworks"?
